Personal Project
Personal Project --- Random quirky worlds
After several years working as a 2D artist in the game industry, I began moving towards motion design.
This short animation was an early exploration of that transition.
Inspired by conversations with my young daughter about unicorns, fairies and imaginary worlds, this piece was an opportunity to explore the playful logic and visual language of a child’s imagination.
Experimental Motion Study
An experimental motion piece created as part of my early Los Angeles motion-design portfolio, exploring rhythm, composition and visual storytelling through animation.
FLUTTERBY! iOS / Android
Role:
Creative direction, visual design & animation
Flutterby! was an exploration of how a richly illustrated, tactile visual world could translate into an engaging mobile experience.
I developed the visual identity and art direction, from characters and environments to textures, composition and interactive elements. The aim was to create a warm, handcrafted world that felt closer to an illustrated storybook than a traditional mobile game.
